Terms of Service
The rules of the road for using Briefline.
Last updated: November 29, 2025
Welcome to Briefline! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Briefline website, applications, and features (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Briefline is an AI-powered productivity tool that aggregates data from your connected third-party accounts (such as Google Calendar, Gmail, and Notion) to generate daily executive briefings and action items. The Service is offered on a subscription basis.
2. User Accounts and Security
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
3. Third-Party Integrations
Briefline integrates with third-party services such as Google and Notion. By connecting these services, you grant us permission to access the necessary data (as outlined in our Privacy Policy) solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services. If an external API changes or breaks functionality, we will make reasonable efforts to restore integration, but continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.
4. Subscription and Payments
- Billing: The Service is billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access remains active until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. To request a refund, email support@briefline.app within 30 days of your purchase.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to access the Service’s source code.
- Share your account or login credentials with others (accounts are single-user only).
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated summaries may not always be accurate. You should verify important information such as travel schedules, financial details, or deadlines directly from the original source.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Briefline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
